TAP takes Calgary
Sean Hannah and mascot Kiya prepare to take Calgary back in 1992

With the advent of highspeed internet, greater CPU processing speed and increased public access in the late 1990s TAP began producing websites and delivering custom educational software across the internet.

TAP now provides all the digital media elements and services a wide range of industries and sectors.

TAP began operations in 1993 providing Custom Educational Software to the University of Calgary.

In 1993 the internet and digital communication were radically different. Http was in its developmental stage and the WWW as we know it had yet to go mainstream.

Since the fastest internet conection at that time was only a 33.6 modem (if you were lucky), all of TAP's courseware was only accessible through the UofC Intranet.
